Oh gosh it's been awhile hasn't it! I'm super excited for the opening!, and I would be more than happy to fix my app if anybody spots anything that needs tweaking!, Thanks! (⊙‿⊙✿)
∎Name: Hikari (光; ひかり)
∎Age: 19 yrs. ∎Birthday: April 3 ∎Zodiac: Aries ♈ ∎Gender: Female ∎Pokemon / Human: Typhlosion ∎Hometown: Ecruteak City
∎Nature: Hardy + Likes to Fight
∎Personality: Just as her nature implies, Hikari is all buff n' rough with a colossal size to match. However, a misconception that is occasionally alienated with her is that she is one to jump at the chance of a fisticuffs; she instead follows the psychology that respect and consent to initiate a strife should always be extended to said combatant as instructed by her father. She likes to fight, just not so much picking fights. Outside of battling, she is actually a gentle giant, retaining that bashful and sweet-tempered interior which becomes apparent through her school girl get-up and passion for 'cutesy girly things' (particularly soppy high school romance mangas). Grin-adorned, Hikari is eager to make friends, sometimes coming off as perhaps a little too overexcited but nevertheless happy to become familiar with new faces!
∎History: The Toshusai dynasty was acknowledged for their wood-crafting skills within the quaint community of residents within Ecruteak City, Darmanitan Jun and his wife Typhlosion Hoshi living the simple yet serenely comfortable life. Being in their mid-forties in just a family of two, they yearned for a child of their own, though however pleasant their life was, it was evidently lonely from the longing gazes they cast at the younger neighbors and their children, plus seldom interaction with any of their kin.
They were utmost overjoyed when they managed to produce an egg, which after a myriad of days tending to and vigilant nurturing, hatched into their daughter Hikari! Like any conventional nature of a fledgling cyndaquil, she retained a timid essence and would almost always cause volatile combustions in fits of alarm or indignation. It was a tremendous task just to keep little Hikari assuaged long enough to not accidentally set ablaze any of the flammable furnishings, but to Jun her ability to generate such vigorous flares was believed to be a commendable for; after all what father wouldn’t be enthralled to have something praiseworthy about their child to boast about! Her mother was not so much delighted by this, and would frequently sweep Hikari away to immerse her daughter in their antecedent Japanese culture, teaching her to speak their native tongue and most of the customary traditions. During the times she was unattended, the child would settle herself in front of the antique television to fervently watch old reruns of anime, utterly captivated by the all the astounding (not to mention particularly violent) combat scenes and horrifyingly cheesy dialogue from the more high school romantic-orientated programs.
On the afternoons after her tutoring sessions, Hikari would go outside to watch her father labor away chopping timber cultivated from the woodlands for either firewood or to be sold as wooden fixings. Jun would notice the tentative observer and take the cyndaquil to demonstrate his trade, hacking away tree after tree with ravaging blows from his bare fists. Hikari squealed with pleasure at her father’s work; oh how she wanted to be as strong as him and all those animated magic girls!
Encouraged by Jun and her fantasies, Hikari persisted to train alongside her father. She begged the Darmanitan to teach her to fight, and through desperate negotiation he finally conceded. Her mother on the other hand rumbled her disapproval, but who was she to forfeit her daughter’s happiness in exchange for her own contentedness? She was tolerant enough to permit Hikari to do as she pleased as long as it remained without disruption to her study time. Through numerous trials and errors Hikari was taught to harness her strength and manage control over the flames that threatened to involuntarily ignite upon bubbling emotions. Years of training added up to an abrupt final evolution into Typhlosion for Hikari, and at the peak of her adolescence, the signs of weariness from her now aged progenitors were beginning to become more prevalent. Jun frequently retired to the house even earlier than before, needing to rest tired bones from work too strenuous.
It was then did Hikari now realize that with all her time spent diligently training, she had neglected to broaden her social circle and was without friends. She loved her parents dearly, but they now had minimal energy to spare undertaking activities with their much more energetic daughter. All the other residents of Ecruteak City of her age had either left for school or to embark on their own personal expedition,, and as for a sparring partner there was none save for the chance encounter of a wild pokemon. When a brochure featuring Pokette Town was slipped into the mail, Hikari decided that it was her time to move on and discover a new life outside her sheltered hometown! Parents and daughter bid each other goodbye, the elderly couple at peace knowing that Hikari would make new friends...
∎Hobby: Sparring, reading manga, watching anime ∎Job: Is willing to lend a hand for tasks that require physical strength; need something to be broken, chopped, smashed? Just ask and she'll do it! ∎Favorite Food: Oden ∎Favorite Berry: Figy berry ∎Catchphrase:"Heheh"
∎Trivia! + Plot points :
- She never went to school, which is kind of ironic since she dresses in a traditional Japanese schoolgirl attire (probably inspired from some anime she watched).
- Her parents didn't speak any other language, so Japanese (the initial language was really taught) comes more easier to her than English. Because of this she speaks in a broken English dialect to those of non-Japanese tongue, and big words tend to confuse her. Opposed to popular belief, she is actually pretty quiet for such a rambunctious pokemon and is one of very few words.
-Appearance wise she isn't overweight, just fat big-boned, gosshhh. But her unusually large size sometimes gives her a self-conscious vibe, and can be rather bashful when receiving compliments; it makes her blush! o//A//o Her longer strands of hair is tied back in a bun using two red hair sticks to hold it in place, with loose spiky ends.
∎Moveset: -Headbutt: The user sticks out its head and attacks by charging straight into the target. It may also make the target flinch. -Fire Punch: The foe is punched with a fiery fist. It may leave the target with a burn. -Ember: The target is attacked with small flames. It may also leave the target with a burn. -Brick Break: The user attacks with tough fists, etc. It can also break any barrier such as Light Screen and Reflect.
